Achievements with numbers are far more compelling than vague responsibilities.

ATS — Applicant Tracking Systems

Most large companies use Applicant Tracking System software to filter resumes before a human ever sees them. ATS looks for keywords from the job description in your resume. If your resume does not contain enough matching keywords, it gets filtered out automatically. Read each job description carefully and naturally incorporate key terms into your resume content.

Indian Job Market Specifics

For Indian job applications, including a professional photograph is common in many industries (though controversial globally). For government jobs, date of birth and nationality are often required. For MNC applications, keep the format clean and international — no photograph, no date of birth. Tailor your approach to the specific employer type.
